Filosofinen Wien – Sävelten ja ajatusten matka

Wien on ollut filosofian ja taiteen synnyinsija, jossa Ludwig Wittgenstein pohti elämän merkitystä, Karl Popper kyseenalaisti totuuden luonteen ja Sigmund Freud avasi oven alitajunnan maailmaan. Sama kaupunki antoi meille Wolfgang Amadeus Mozartin ja Franz Schubertin, joiden musiikki tavoittaa ihmisyyden syvimmät kysymykset: elämän kauneuden, kärsimyksen ja katoavaisuuden.

Filosofinen Wien -konsertissa Kiovan Virtuoosit -kvintetti yhdistää musiikin ja ajattelun. Mozartin kirkas, lähes ylimaallinen harmonisuus kietoutuu Schubertin sävelten melankoliaan, jotka kumpuavat ihmisen eksistentiaalisista kokemuksista. Philosophical Vienna – A Journey of Mind and Music

Vienna has for a long time been known as the birthplace of both philosophy and art. A place where Ludwig Wittgenstein contemplated the meaning of life, where Karl Popper questioned the nature of truth, and where Sigmund Freud opened the door into the world of the subconscious. This same city has given us Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Schubert, whose music also addresses similar profound topics about the nature of being that humankind has always concerned themselves with: the beauty of life, suffering, and the impermanence of existence.

The Philosophical Vienna concert by the Kyiv Virtuosi quintet combines music with introspection. The bright, almost supernatural harmonies of Mozart interact with the melancholy of Schubert’s melodies, echoing the existential experience of being human.
